What Would I Feel? I – Palm Sunday

What would I feel

If I walked into Jerusalem with Him?

Walking beside the donkey

That carried my King and Lord

Walking over cloaks and palm leaves

Laid before His feet

With crowds of thousands

Cheering Him and proclaiming Him king

Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna!

Would it be joy or pride that I was one

Whom He considered a friend?

Would it be excitement or apprehension

As He was about to claim His crown?

Would I understand what He was doing

Riding the donkey and what the week foretold?
