The Lakes

A man’s emotions

Can often be described

As, so often tried

By the philosophers of

Old and new

Right or wrong?

No one can say.

Nature can best illustrate

As a day by the lake can show.

Serene calmness

Sun glinting down

Shattered by clouds, wind

And rain:-

Peace has gone.
