Wasteland

The strings scream out
Trying to be heard
Above the noise and
Racket.
Trying to impact
The desert that is
This cultural wasteland.

Christ cries out
Trying to be heard
Above the sin and
Destruction.
Trying to impact
This nation that is
This spiritual wasteland.
