Ecclesiastes

Can life be so meaningless?
Mundane chores occupying
Every waking hour!

Can life be so desperate?
Struggling to survive
Day after day!

Can life be so hurtful?
Every blow of the hammer
Fastening to coffin shut!

Life can be joyful!
New life can be found

Through another’s sacrifice!
