Snowdon

The train pulls a carriage

Up the steep incline

Steam billowing

Engine working hard for no wage.

Hikers struggle with the climb

Higher and higher

Clambering on

Mist rolling in losing all time.

The aim of both the same

To achieve the goal,

Reach the summit.

Some conquered, others didn’t try.
