Looking into a mirror

What do I see?

An exterior, yes,

That I look at and think

“What a man”

“What a state”

How can someone like that be called

A human being?

Looking into the mirror

Of actions too

Standards proclaimed

Actions portrayed

Are not a true reflection

Of inward feeling

Of inward belief.

Hypocrisy rules.
