Loneliness IV

I look around

To try and find

A brightness in the gloom

To cheer an endless drudge

Of pain,

Of hurt,

Of loneliness.

Friends seem so far away

So unfaithful,

So preoccupied, ignoring

Not caring.

I need love!!

And yet, looking closer

I can see

A light shining bright

A limp figure on a cross

Loving, suffering

Dying for me!

Someone who is faithful

Someone who does care

And provides everything I need

And yet He is the Creator

THE God

And still loves me.
