The Puppy

A bundle of energy

Bouncing around

From one thing to another

No concentration span.

Everything’s a toy

From tissues to shoes

To be eaten, licked

And then spit out.

Everything is simple

Play, eat and wee

Nothing to complicate

And get in the way.

An unquestionable trust

Follows everywhere

Tail wagging feverishly

Not a doubt in her mind.

We can learn so much

From the attitude

Of a new born puppy

And her view of life.
